Pueraria tubersora
Large woody climber, perennial, root tuberous, tubers large, up to 35 kg, often in strings. Branches sturdy, young branches grey pubescent, Stipules peltate. Leaves pinnately 3- foliate,10-22 cm long, rachis 1-6 cm long. Leaflets ovate to orbicular-ovate, acuminate, base rounded to wide acuminate, terminal leaflet broadly ovate, acuminate, the lateral leaflet ovate-oblong, very oblique, unequal, leaves green and glabrescent above, glabrous when mature, light green and densely grey pubescent below, ribs prominent, 6-9 pairs. Inflorescence axillary or terminal raceme, upright, 20-50 cm long, densly covered with short grey hairs, Pedicel 2-3 mm long, bracts lanceolate, very caducous: bracteoles small, flowers 2 per node sometimes 3, tip obtuse, long pubescent. Calyx grey to light brown pubescent, 6-8 mm long, as long as corolla tube, densely silky, the 2 upper teeth connate. Corolla blue to bluish white Vexillum orbicular-ovate 9- 16 mm long and 9-13 mm wide, base auriculate. Fruit 5-7.5 cm long, constricted between the seeds, densely pilose, hairs brown, silky, 3-6-seeded.
